The Sims 4 SuperSim Challenge by Snarky Witch

The SuperSim Challenge is one of the most ambitious completionist challenges in The Sims 4. The premise is simple: take a single Sim and make them master absolutely everything the game has to offer. Every skill, every career, every aspiration, every collection, every unlockable — all on one Sim.

The original creator of this challenge is unknown, and over the years many different versions have circulated. The rules below are the "official-ish" version compiled by Snarky Sims, updated in March 2023 for the Growing Together expansion and the infants base game update.

Objective

Master everything in the game with a single Sim.

Getting Started

  • Create an infant in CAS. You may start with an adult and then age them down if you don't want to risk your SuperSim growing up ugly.
    • The infant must have at least one teen or older Sim in the household to care for them. It does not matter whether they are related to the infant or not. Nothing about the caretaker matters — they only exist to keep your SuperSim fed and housed.
      • Move your infant and their caretaker to any lot they can afford with their starting funds.
        • Set the age span to your desired length in the game settings. The challenge may be played on any age span you prefer. Aging can also be turned off. The challenge is not about doing everything in a specific time frame — it is about having the dedication to see such a long challenge through to the end.

          Rules

          • No cheats! This is the main rule of the challenge. No money cheats. No skill, aspiration, career, or reward store points cheats. No motive cheats. Nothing. NO CHEATS. PERIOD!
            • You may use mods, but you may not use any mod features that make the challenge rules or goals easier for you. Mods that allow you to cheat are most definitely not allowed.
              • Aging may be turned off or kept on. This is up to your own personal preference. If aging is off, you may age up your SuperSim when they have completed all goals for their current life stage. If aging is on, your SuperSim may keep themselves young through any in-game means that don't involve cheating.
                • You may use any and all items and features from DLC packs that you own. In fact, the more DLC packs you own, the longer the challenge will be for you. Your SuperSim must complete all goals across all your owned packs.

                  Goals

To give you a clearer sense of direction, this is the full list of everything your SuperSim will need to achieve in the game. You can safely ignore any goals that require packs you don't own.

There are some hidden traits in the game that are not possible for a created Sim to have, as they are inherited traits from parents. Your SuperSim is not required to have these traits to finish the challenge. However, if you are a super completionist, you can start the challenge off a little differently to earn these traits as a bonus. The traits are:

                                                                          • Ancient Bloodline (Realm of Magic)
                                                                            • Sulani Mana (Island Living)
                                                                              • Father Winter's Baby (Seasons)

To have a SuperSim with all three of these traits, you will need to accomplish the following:

                                                                                • Have two Spellcasters have children, then grandchildren, then great-grandchildren. Continue the line until you have a Sim with the Ancient Bloodline trait. You may use birthday cakes to age up Sims immediately to help speed this along.
                                                                                  • Give this Sim the Child of the Islands trait and have them summon an Island Elemental. Max out your friendship with the Island Elemental and invite them to move into the household. The Island Elemental will lose their role as an Elemental but retain their Sulani Mana trait. Then resurrect the Island Elemental through any in-game method.
                                                                                    • Have your Ancient Bloodline Sim have children with your Sulani Mana Sim until you have a child with both traits.
                                                                                      • Have the Sim with both traits have children with Father Winter until you get a child with all three inherited traits.
                                                                                        • This child will be your SuperSim that you will play out the rest of the challenge with!

The SuperSim Challenge is the ultimate test of dedication for any Sims 4 player. It is not about speed — it is about seeing one Sim achieve absolutely everything the game has to offer across every pack you own. Whether you play with aging off and take your time, or keep aging on and race against the clock, this challenge will keep you busy for hundreds of hours.

                                                                                          You might also like...
